Tepp Extrusion is proud to be one of the few specialised manufacturers extruding  Nylatron® GS — a registered trademark of Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials (MCAM). While others may fabricate parts from Nylatron® GS, we extrude the material itself, offering unmatched precision, consistency, and traceability.

Tepp Extrusion is a UK-based manufacturer of Nylatron® GS strip, Nylatron GS®️sheet, Nylatron GS®️washers, Nylatron GS®️shims,Nylatron GS®️ wear bars, and custom Nylatron GS®️ components. We produce thin gauge Nylatron GS®️ material from 0.25mm to 3.18mm, available in coiled strip, and sheet. Our extrusion capabilities allow us to supply:
  • Nylatron GS strip in 0.25mm, 0.38mm, 0.51mm, 0.64mm, 0.79mm, 1.02mm, 1.27mm, 1.57mm, 2mm, 2.36mm, and 3.18mm
  • Nylatron GS coils for slitting, stamping, and conversion
  • Nylatron GS washers, Nylatron GS shims, and Nylatron GS wear bars
  • Nylatron GS sheets and custom Nylatron GS parts for engineering and industrial use

We also extrude Tepmax Nylon 6.6, Nylomos™ GS, ABS, and Acetal in similar gauges. Heavier gauge sheet is available in multiple materials. Other materials may be available on request — please contact us with your specification.
We precision-cut strips made from the high-performance plastic Nylatron®, extruded in-house, part of the nylon family widely used in industrial and engineering applications for its exceptional strength and wear resistance.

Our Nylatron® GS strip is produced through a controlled thin-gauge extrusion process designed for consistency, dimensional stability, and reliable performance in demanding industrial applications. We specialise in manufacturing narrow-width strip and coil, offering precise tolerances and uniform material properties across long production runs.

Key Capabilities
  • Thin-gauge extrusion from approximately 0.25 mm upward
  • Continuous coil production for high-volume stamping, cutting, and fabrication
  • Custom widths produced to order using in-house slitting and trimming
  • Tight dimensional tolerances for applications requiring repeatability and accuracy
  • Smooth, consistent surface finish suited for sealing, sliding, and wear applications

Material Performance
  • Engineered for wear resistance and long service life in moving, sliding, or load-bearing environments
  • Enhanced durability due to the molybdenum-filled Nylatron® GS formulation
  • Low friction behaviour, reducing noise, heat, and wear during operation
  • Strong mechanical strength suitable for replacing metal components in lightweight assemblies
  • Excellent stability under repeated mechanical stress

Applications
Nylatron® GS strip is widely used for:
  • Wear pads
  • Shims and spacers
  • Gaskets
  • Sliding components
  • Guide tracks
  • Custom stamped or machined parts

Why choose Nylatron® strips?
Nylatron strips deliver a combination of high mechanical strength, excellent wear resistance, strong load-bearing capacity and self-lubricating performance (depending on the grade). They machine easily and serve as excellent substitutes for metal in many circumstances, reducing weight, noise, lubrication requirements and corrosion risk. Typical applications include seals, insulation barriers, anti-vibration components and wear pads in sectors such as engineering, automotive, aerospace and electronics.

Available Grades
  • Nylatron GSM: Anthracite colour. Enhanced load bearing and impact resistance.
  • Nylatron GS: Anthracite. Harder material with greater wear resistance, but lower impact resistance.
  • Nylatron NSM: Grey cast nylon. Contains solid-lubricant additives. Superior wear and friction performance for moving‐part applications.
  • Nylatron MC901: Blue. Fatigue-resistant grade with higher strength and flexibility.
  • Nylatron 4.6: Reddish-brown. Excellent stability, creep resistance, wear resistance and ageing performance under elevated temperatures.

Benefits at a Glance
  • Self-lubricating sliding surfaces (depending on grade)
  • High electrical insulation
  • Excellent wear resistance and mechanical strength
  • Strong fatigue performance
  • Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance
